Dr. Sunitha Abhay Jain is a Professor at the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. With over two decades of experience, she specializes in Corporate and Commercial Laws. She holds an LL.B. and LL.M. from Bangalore University, securing the second rank in her BA LLB (Hons.) program. Dr. Jain also earned a Master of Human Rights from Pondicherry University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Laws from NALSAR, Hyderabad. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from NLSIU, Bengaluru, and is currently pursuing post-doctoral research from South Ural State University, Russia. She has coordinated the LLM and MPhil programs for over a decade. As faculty convenor, she led committees such as Litigation and Research. Dr. Jain has contributed to revising law curricula and edited the book Centre-State Relations in India. She has taught diverse courses like International Trade Law, Media Law, and Constitutional Governance. Her research includes numerous publications in Scopus-indexed journals. Additionally, she has presented papers at national and international seminars and served as an external subject expert for doctoral presentations.
